And I Finally Saw You...

Three years back
Just three years back
You turned away from Me
And I couldn't call you back!

My soul in anguish
My dreams you shattered
You turned away from Me
As if I never mattered!

I ran away from home
It is my wedding tonight
I can see you, feel you and speak to you
They say I am not alright!

I know you still exist
I am not wrong
They call me insane
But to you I belong!

I've run a long way to find you
A long way tonight
And to be one with you
Is going to be my last rite!

In the midst of this starry paradise
I gaze at the sky
I see you looking at me
And you winked thrice!

I finally saw you tonight
To prove to everyone that I am right
That our love is true
And I finally saw you! :)

P.S. : Thank you for choosing the picture for me and inspiring and motivating me to try my hand at poetry dear Vinay.

Together from the Womb :)

From the womb we are connected,
That is where we stem from,
Ever since then,
Together we have been throwing a tantrum!

He pushes me,
I throw on him my toys,
He hates me,
And I hate these boys!

He is ill,
And I cannot sleep,
Didn't I tell you I hate him,
Then why do I weep?

That is how we are,

Just the way you are,

Every leaf is our sibling,
And the roots, the womb!

We take birth, live together,
If any one of us dies,
We mourn the loss together.
We protect each other, we protect you,
From sun, from rain,
No matter what we go through.

We fight, we crib, we rant,

Together we live, we plan,

To be happy, to grow each day,

To learn the life's lessons,

The lessons our way! :)

P.S.: Thank you Vinay for the picture and motivating me to write another poem! :) I hope I did justice to it.

Color me the way you want...!

I see you coming every day to meet us,
But never do you come close to me.
I know not why,
May be because I'm white,
And others, are colors galore.

I am sometimes prodded by unworthy passers-by,
I know not what my mistake is.
I return the next season,
Blooming dauntlessly.

I see you have grown old,
But something in you is still the same,
You still ignore me,
And I still feel the pain.

I may be white,
I may be colorless,
I may not be pleasing and appealing,
But I am here, waiting for you.
Waiting for the day you would touch me,
Waiting for the day my setting dream would see a sunrise.

Color me the way you want,
Color me Red, Blue, Pink or Cyan,
Color me the way you want to see me,
I am here, only for you.

P.S.: This is my first attempt at poetry ever in life. Please bear with me if I have made any mistake.

EaCh ExPeRiEnCe EnRiChEs LiFe!!

"Each experience counts."

You would have often heard people saying this, ain't it?

True! Each experience does count...

Let me explain this by being a bit more illustrative.

All of us hated going to school. For us SCHOOL meant - homework, classes, teachers, intelligent students, bullying, fights, principal...phew!! But it has taught us so much...if not anything, then at least we can understand the difference between the good and the bad! :)

Financial difficulties... This teaches you how to be stronger. When your friends become your foes, you are just left with the ones who are truly concerned about you...that is when you know who are the ones who care for you. Each difficulty that comes along with it only makes you stronger. You learn how to hold on to your God, you learn how to manage your family, everything!

When you have no friends...You learn how to be at peace with yourself. You learn how to grow.

When you see poverty around you, you learn how to be happy with what you have!

When you are in love, you understand the importance of giving that love to someone, no matter who they are. They might be your friends, family, a stranger or may be your loved one! You realize how important it is to care for them.

When you are sad and see a smile on somebody's face, you feel like being happy. That is when you realize the importance of a smile.

When you see your parents fighting for petty issues, you realize your responsibility...how to make peace between them, how to bring back that love in them for each other.

Go paragliding, you will learn how to curb that fear in you.

When someone does something bad to you, you realize how wicked the outside world is.

Each experiences truly enriches life, whether bad or good.

It acts as a coat to life that never wears out.... they mould you into a better human being. So whenever you face something difficult, it'll be for the better.
P.S.: This is a very random post. You may feel that there is no essence, but you'll have to bear with me because...this is my blog! Simple! :P

And they say... BE AN INFORMED VOTER!! :P

Elections are on their way...in fact, they have already begun!

Phase - I of voting already over... Voter turnout 58 - 62 %...

I saw a new video on television a few days back... all our bollywood actors and actresses...UNITEDLY appeal to the nation... TO VOTE!!

Heeeeeeehhhhaaaaaaahhhhhaaaaa *Evil Laughter*

I live in GHAZIABAD... I don't know if I should call it a city or a village!! The best part... want to know?? A few days back someone told me that Ghaziabad is one of the fastest growing cities in the world...in terms of development. You want me to believe that??

I shifted to Ghaziabad seven years back... Ever since I came here I can just see increase in the population and nothing else.

Anyway, my main motive here is to speak about the POWER CUTS!
My uncle was born and brought up in this city and he says that from the past 50 years, he has never seen an improvement as far as the power supply is concerned. Actually!!

Since last week, I sleep at 3.30 in the night and have to get up around 8...!! Poor me!! Now ask why 3.30 in the night?? Arey, there is no power!! Show mercy guys, its summer time...no masti time..!! I at least need a fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But who is there to listen?? Those sleepless nights...nay, you got me wrong!! Sleepless nights...not because of my boyfriend, but... no power!! NO POWER = NO FAN = NO SLEEP!!

They want us to vote... To bring to power an idiot who will bring no change with him, who would do no good!! The power cuts will be the same, the road will be the same - a pregnant lady can give birth to a baby if she travels by such roads! Whoa!

What we say is write guys - KUCH NAHI HO SAKTA IS DESH KA!! No politician , no leader will ever bring about a change in what is already happening!! And we go to vote, we dream about a super-developed India!! Ain't it..?? Heeehhaahhaaa!! *Thumbs down*

Go, vote... Agar aap vote nahi kar rahe ho... Ask me... TOH AAP JAAG RAHE HO!! :P

Vote for the RIGHT PERSON (who is always wrong) seems utter shit to me!!

Boycott such elections and then they know...what they are actually supposed to do other than fooling the Indian Janta!! :P

Out of 24 hours if I see a power cut for 12 hours, this is what I can say, honestly!!

So guys and girls, vote for these @%*$&!$&* and have a great time!!

Cheers

*PEACE*

Worth of Relationships..!!

I woke up that morning because of my friend's call. My friends had organised a picnic that day to Alibaug. I got up, freshened up a bit and looked out of the window in my room. It was a warm sunny day!

I was so excited about the picnic...I rushed to my dad to seek permission and guess what...he REFUSED as always! I felt so bad...a disappointment early in the morning...the whole day was gone for a six I thought! Frowning and crying...I came back to my room...called my friend and told her that I won't be able to go with them.

The whole day I kept thinking about my dad...how bad he is...just like a Hindi movie villain...thought how good it would have been if he would not have been in Delhi today (he keeps on travelling all the time). I did not know why I was cursing him! I just did not know! I cried all day long...

Two days later I got a news... there was this girl in my college...I won't take her name here Ms. A... we were no more friends. My friend Bhavna messaged me that A's dad expired...just a day before 31st Dec, 2008. I could not think of anything else but A's condition. What would she be thinking...how would she manage...her mom...her sister who is of marriageable age now...her future. Everything would be a question mark for her now! I met her online...spoke to her...our enmity vanished...I was genuinely concerned about her. She felt good that at least I spoke to her at this difficult time.

The news of her dad's death changed my perception. I could not think of the day when something would happen to any of my loved ones. I hated myself for having cursed my dad that day for just not allowing me to go with my friends. This incident made me realise how important it is to thank God for having given us such wonderful parents, siblings and friends. Never ever curse them for any of their mistakes...because they say that you realise the importance of your loved ones when they are not there with you. Why have such a realisation? Why curse them for a minute or a day and be cursed yourself for an entire life? Cherish everyone around you...realize the worth of each and everyone...Love them unconditionally and thank them for everything that they have given you and done for you!

For each and everyone related to me in some or the other way...there is a simple but a special message to all of you... I LOVE YOU!! THANK YOU for everything...

Cheers
