Let's Start Again...?!!

Hello blog,

So, we meet again..?!!

Coming Soon...

May 8, 2013

Just Passing By..

Probably an year has passed ever since I came here. I do not know the reason why I stopped writing. I have even stopped reading what people have been writing.

How have you all been people? Oh yes, I have been good. Life has changed for me. God has been extremely kind to me. I am now a happily married woman. Thank you. :)

Got married on January 17th this year to someone whom I have known for 3 years now. Really loving every bit of my life. You can't really say I am a housewife. I work from home, take care of my beaaaaaaauuuuutiful house and my super amazing husband. And how can I forget to tell you.. I moved abroad. Not in India anymore. I miss India badly. No country can ever make you feel like what you feel when you are in India. I miss it. I miss my parents. I miss getting up at 8.45 am and be in the office by 10.00 am. I had nothing to do back then. Just had to take care of myself and my work. But, I am happy today... Happy that I can take care of him and be with him.

Loads of friends are getting married, getting engaged. Happy for all of them as well.

Special thanks to Mridupawan and Heena for making it to my wedding. I love you both so much.

And for all those who couldn't make it to my wedding.. here are the pictures. :)

May be this is it? Rest later..

Electric Eleven

The rules :
1. Put the rules on your blog.
2. Every person tagged should tell 11 things about themselves, answer the 11 questions asked by the one that tagged you, tag 11 other people and ask them 11 other questions.
3. Let the people whom you've tagged know you've done so.
4. Don't tag anyone who's been tagged before.
5. Really do tag 11 others; don't go all "if you want to take this tag."

My questions from Leo are :

1. If you could change your name to any other, what would it be? (Same name can't be the answer)
2. How would you change your worst nightmare into a most beautiful dream?
3. The one person who can make you to smile even in the darkest of times.
4. An addiction that you have never regretted.
5. An addiction that you have always regretted.
6. What defines weakness in a person.
7. Favorite desert.
8. What food perks you up when you are feeling low.
9. Favorite movie of all time.
10. Does the look of a blog tell the quality of its content too?
11. A suggestion for my blog.

Here are my answers :
1. Nandini. I somehow love this name for no reason. :)
2. By probably thinking of what makes it "Worst" and substitute it with everything that can make it the most beautiful.
3. It has to be none other than someone whom I love the most - Hari.
4. I have never regretted being a kid at heart. Don't know if you can call it an addiction.
5. Being there for everyone at every possible time is one thing that I do not want to do anymore. Period.
6. Anything that can overpower your strength and intellect. It ranges from a person to a habit. It can be anything.
7. Chocolate Fantasy with Ice cream.
8. Umm... Chinese!
9. Alaipayuthey, Pursuit of Happiness
10. Never. It would be stupid to judge it that way. Can you judge me by the way I look?
11. Can never do that! You're so experienced already and i'm still starting all over again!

Before I find people to tag... Thank you Leo for tagging me and certainly for making yourself and few other people happy by bringing me back to blogging again.

Thank you so much.

My questions for the ones I tag :

1. One thing you wish you had never done?

...Everything that was once a part of what I called 'My Life'

"Remember those walls I built,
Well, baby they're tumbling down,
And they didn't even put up a fight,
They didn't even make up a sound..."
...Says Beyonce in her outstanding track called 'HALO.'

Everything is just going to amount to something really big in the coming few days. REALLY BIG!

Yes, I am here almost after eternity. Someone has been forcing me a lot to write. But, I am here not because of that someone today. I am here because I really have to take it all out of me. I really feel the need to 'vent' it out on someone. I do not want anyone to tell me - 'Do this or do that.' I really need someone who can just listen to me. And, no one else better than this blog (which was my Utopian World) can come to my rescue.

There is just nothing that is permanent. Every thing, person, emotions and situations undergo the stage of transition. Trust me, the recent best understanding of mine... there is nothing that is YOURS forever. People will break your heart (and yes, this time, they didn't even make up a sound), you would be royally screwed from all sides, no one would ever tell you what to do, there would be no running away, no tears and no comforting hugs always by your side!

Sometimes it is better to be YOU... alone, struggling but happy! ...at least you don't owe a goddamn explanation to every person on earth. It can be so difficult at times to stand someone who just knows how to be stubborn, to dominate and wants you to sacrifice your dreams so that his dreams become a reality!

Male chauvinistic society, I tell you.

It would have been much better if I was born a Muslim. I would at least have valid reasons for me being this way!

And today, you are also going away. For the better, of course, I trust.
I do not have a problem. I am not complaining. I really wanted everything to be good. But now, I am prepared...to see, what is really going to come in front of me. Because now, I have learnt it the hard way that... this is LIFE! ...No dependency, no hard feelings, no more crying. Wish you luck!

Pathetic it may be, but this is Reality! ...and this time, I am not running away from this.

Take Care people.
More rants coming your way!

'H' Effect...! ;)

Stupid sms'es, cuppycake ringtone, coming to gmail, writing a post ... its all for him these days! Seriously... I mean, I never thought I would be so crazy about someone.

It is really funny to see that every second if there is something I expect is him...! His calls, his sms'es, his pings on gmail... his voice... his eyes... his smile...! The whole scenario... me walking on a Delhi road with a 'south-indian' guy talking in Tamil and people staring at me... this gave me jitters! But today, I walk on Delhi roads proudly, clinging to his arm while he hugs me tight, talking to him in Tamil and just not bothered about people staring at us as if Tamilians are aliens. :)

This guy has changed me... seriously. I never wanted to put my head into the work I was being forced to do. But today, my dad (or should I say...my BOSS) is so happy with my work... it's all because of him. 'He' is the reason behind this. I saw him working...putting his heart and soul into it and that is when I realized, after all working doesn't make horns grow on our heads. It's all for good.

Even small things have changed... :) ...I have been too much into Tamil music these days. I was never even bothered about A.R. Rahman or Harris Jayaraj creating masterpieces down south. But today, I listen to all these songs and yes, I like it. Kajal has been replaced by an eye-liner. Yea, that sure is funny! But, this is what it is today...only because he likes it this way. 'Dont-you-dare-mess-with-me' attitude is being replaced by 'I-don't-care-about-you' and 'I-have-the-best-guy-in-the-world' attitude.

I was always bothered about those small things that disappointed me. They completely spoiled my day. He taught me how to be more adjusting in nature, how to accept things and not to crib about it. I know that he does want to pamper me like a kid, but most of the times... he avoids doing it just to make me stronger to face this world. I know how much I mean to him. He means the world to me.

The first time I saw him panic seeing a cut on my finger and a little blood on it, the moment my eyes woke up to see him sleeping with his mouth a little open ... I lost myself to him. It all began then... till forever.

It's called the 'H' Effect...!

Love you Mr. Srihari Menon.

Yours,

Wifey!

Dedicated to HIM... :)

Love is not about finding the right person, but creating a right relationship. It's not about how much love you have in the beginning but how much love you build till the end... I am sure a lot of you would agree to this little something.

I have been in love before, I have had my share of infactuations too ... this time it's the same, nothing different. Something that has completely changed are...the times. I am happy now. I have evolved as a better person after all that happened in the last few days. June' 10 will be a biiiiiiiiggg part of my life forever. The owner of this little space is NOT single anymore, forever! :) :) ... Happily Committed, yes... that too ... FOREVER! His name is Srihari Menon... :D

I never expected this... it all came all of a sudden. Trust me guys, this is for the better...rather the best.

Better late than never, I realized... Life is about trusting your feelings, taking chances, losing and finding happiness, appreciating the momories, learning from the past, and realizing ... people change.

This post is completely dedicated to my guy... Srihari.

Baby,

I am in love with you! :) ... I promise to give you all that you have dreamt of.

I'll always be by your side till the very end. I'll smile when you smile, and feel all the pain you do... if you cry a single tear, I promise i'll cry too. I have understood that sometimes what you want isn't always what you get, but in the end what you get is so much better than what you had always wanted. Thank you for coming into my life, taking my hands into yours and teaching me to walk happily towards what we are destined.

I have fought with you so many times, have even made you shed tears... but I was stupid... didn't know how much I meant to you. I have changed now, for the better... for you.  Trust me, it's all fine now.

I never believed you when we fought and you said you'll keep me happy... when you hugged me and said i'll wipe your tears. But now, there is no one I trust more than you. You belong ONLY to me and I ONLY to you.

I wanna grow old with you... see the first wrinkle under those chinkey kinda eyes... be the one to hold you whenever you need someone, see our babies growing and in the end, wanna die in your arms!

Love you always... :)

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Guys, this is something that I wanted to share with all of you because you all are an integral part of what makes me ME! :)

Love you all,

Artz!

???...!!!

Life can sometimes be a bumpy ride, sometimes a straight path, sometimes too curvy, sometimes a disaster but sometimes, just luckily, a FAIRY-TALE.

I have been out of the virtual world for quite a long time now. Trust me, I feel happy to know that I DO NOT FEEL INCOMPLETE. I am happy... I am still eating... still growing fat... still sleeping...and most importantly, still BREATHING! But there is one thing that keeps reminding me of the virtual world... an amazing set of friends that it has given me. I happened to meet a few blogger friends last weekend... it was a super feeling as usual. Sometimes I just wonder (happily) how happy my virtual friends make me. He he ... ok I guess I can stop grinning now. :D

Know what guys, last few months have been...like a roller-coaster ride for me. I attended a family friend's wedding and her brother fell in looooouuuuuvvvvve with me. No, that isn't good. He is one of the most irritating person I have ever come across...probably a sadist of sorts. Yuck! He is 30 and he wants me to marry him... I should have booked him under the Child Molestation case. :P
Then, I happened to meet Nuchu. Yes, she is in India... super cute she looks I tell you. And to talk about Hafsa (Nuchu's niece)...GOD...Angel would be an understatement for her. She is the MOST BEAUTIFUL female I have ever seen. She is just 8 months old? Woohoooo.... and guess what, the moment she was in my arms, she didn't want anyone else. No, not out of love... but she found me to be a DUNLOP mattress sorts. Lol... yes! She was playing and smiling and laughing in my arms. Yay! Many people wanted to lift her, but she was just not ready to go to anyone... AWW... ;D

One of my friends is getting married to the guy she loves...yay yay yay. that makes me super happy! All the best girl...Keep Rocking!

That's all as an update from me to you... Love to all.

February 9, 2010

WHAT??

Last night was an eye-opener sorts for me. I have a reason to support what I felt.

As any normal person complains, I too have my set of complaints. I do think and brood over them. I do cry thinking about my problems. I do suddenly feel the urge to do something that would bring all my problems to an end and I do admit that I have a habit of 'sometimes' blaming someone else for my problems. It is a matter of shame that in the last few months, I have blamed my parents for the problems I face.

I know that what I felt, was the biggest mistake I did ever in my life. Last night there was one surprise in store for me. My dad called. No, that is not the surprise I was talking about. My dad called and he was talking to mom. While talking about other things, there was one thing he said, "We earn quite a good income, and inspite of that I have never done anything for my daughter. Every time I plan to do something for her, God gives me some problem or the other." My mom told me that he sounded to be in pain.

I could not sleep last night. Realization dawned on me. I really did think abour how hard he works to bring us out of all the problems we are going through. I have never done anything for him. I 'work' or may be just pretend to do so for the sake of it. But I hardly care of my work brings any returns or not. I have been living an awful meaningless life. I have just blamed my dad all this while. I have never helped him.

But, that soul (My Father) has always taught me lessons...those lessons which has only got me better.

I am sorry dad to have let you down till date. I promise to work hard. I promise to hear it one day from you that you are proud of me. After all that happened yesterday, I can just say one thing -

'Expect the worst and the best is yet to happen.'

Last week I wrote a post. I promised to speak the truth for a week. Trust me guys, it was difficult... way too difficult. I did try my best. And to my surprise I could manage it well. But I did fail... three times in that week. Still, I learnt the art of being honest.

This week, am not putting the blame on anybody for anything. I am going to take the responsibility for my actions...whether good or bad. Even if the worst happens, it is only going to make me strong and capable of handling everything that comes my way.

Best Wishes,

Nyx!

OUTRIGHTLY (HILARIOUS + SERIOUS)

I am back from the so called period of 'exile' that I had forced myself into.

Something is just pissing me off these days...something or the other. Lol... i just don't know why. But amidst all this, there was something that I saw on t.v. which can be called as OUTRIGHTLY HILARIOUS. Any guesses about what it could have been?

It was - RAHUL MAHAJAN KA SWAYAMVAR. ROFLMAO!

The girls, the set-up, RAHUL MAHAJAN... OMG! I so remember what happened in that episode. All the girls had to write a diary for Rahul. A girl wrote something in the purest form of Hindi and she quoted to Rahul that he was as capable as Lord Krishna who had 16,108 wives. Lol. Lol.

I really think NDTV IMAGINE has gone NUTS! How about featuring my swayamvar on your channel eh? Jeez!!

Moving away from something that was outrightly hilarious, its time to talk about something that is outrightly serious.

It feels so good to have people around us...friends and family. They are our real strength. I recently found a source of strength...a new friend (a friend for life). That person is my twin, in the real sense of the word. We are going through the same phase of life and I am so glad that we are coming out of that phase holding hands - TOGETHER!

In front of the whole wide world, I welcome you - ESTHER EVELYN to my sweet little world. :)

*A welcome hug*

Life is so colorful, isn't it. Yes, you cannot ignore the shade that I hate the most - BLACK.
Every person who walks into your life is different, every minute is different... and in each passing moment, we have learnt how to lie to ourself. Yes, you got that right.

We really find no trouble in committing something that we cannot do. For example, how about promising a friend for a lunch with her and you know you have some other commitment that day? You know you can't make it right? Then why commit?

This is how it is. Every moment we do something like this, we are being untrue to our own self as well as the other person. Being untrue to our own self hardly makes a difference to us today right? Because we see no consequence of such an action of ours. BUT, something that is so startling is the fact that not being true to yourself is day-by-day becoming our habit. Such a habit can do no good. All it will lead us to one day is a point where we would be breaking the trust that someone has on us. Trust, a bond , is very flimsy. You need to handle with care. As they say, it takes a second to break the trust but years to build it; and once broken, there is hardly a way to rebuild it.

Think about it for a second. Try keeping a check... for say a week.

Check how many times do you say something that you just don't mean. In the virtual world, to which we are so used to, how many times do you end up saying 'Awwwwww....baby you are the sweetest!' to someone...who, according to you, probably doesn't deserve this? Yes, this happens. It happens with me too.

I am trying to change it all. I am under a self check project and I need some like-minded people who would be ready to take up this challenge along with me. For a week, I am not saying or doing something that I don't mean. Are you ready?? :)

Another brainless rant... :P

Well, oh well... it's been a pretty long time since I landed here last.

Many reasons I have that forced me to stay away from my Utopian World - to begin with, I went on a family tour to Tirupati...needless to say, it was fun. Second, I went to Bangalore, met Prats, Abhrajit and someone new...Abhishek Maiti; the last...fever, cold and sore throat!

There has been a lot to think over in the last few days... I want to be a journalist (Any journo listening?), I want a Louis Vuitton bag, I want to revive the blogger in me, I want to earn big time, I want to be happy, I want to go abroad, I want to get married, have kids, stay happy...phew!!

Alright, let me have the privilege to cut my own crap and begin with some sensible 'gyaan' for you guys! o_O

Tirupati... a heavenly place! Lord Venkateswara (or Lord Balaji) rests over seven mountains. The place is called Tirumala. A pilgrimage, where thousands of people flock to just catch a glimse of the Lord. Mind you, you can just catch a glimse of him! When I came out after seeing him, all I knew was that all the time that I was there in the Garbagraham (the main spot where Lord Venkateswara is), I had my eyes fixed on him. I cam out with tears in my eyes. The only thing I felt at that particular moment was that now since I have seen him and mentally prostrated in front of him, all my worries will be taken care by him. He is the wire-puller and so he knows, what I want.

People from different states (even from North India) were chanting the name of the Lord while standing in queues. But... what was irritating was that... even while standing in the queue, the people were just not considerate towards the females. They were pushing each and everyone so badly while making their way towards Garbagraham. My maternal aunt accompanied us to Tirupati. She was close to 55 years old. I saw ladies who were close to 70 years old, being pushed by the uncles around.Sad... someone needs to teach them decency!

Anyways guys...these days, I don't know why, I am just not able to gather all my intellect and try and push myself to write something worth a read. Hope to be back soon with something that would ring a bell in someone's head.

Nyx!

I Am Back! ;)

Alright guys, December begins! I am back here...

I've been out of blogsville for almost a month. In this one whole month, I noticed a lot of things, my imagination was at its best and also, I learnt many new things! Good? Yea!

I am not happy these days because of a lot of things. Be decent and don't ask me why's, what's and how's. Keep them to yourself. But anyway, I trust God and I am sure, he'll lead me through this. Second, facebook is keeping me quite busy for no reason... (Yea, it doesn't even pay me for being so loyal...MARK, are you listening?)

Last weekend, I went to my friend's place and while I was on my way, I got stuck in a traffic jam... typical Delhi! What caught my stupid wandering mind's attention was different people in different mode of transports... everything different, but just one thing in common. Guess what? All of them were busy looking out of their windows. I saw each one of them gazing out of their windows, thinking about something...or may be, nothing! Many people were with their family and to my surprise, no one was talking to each other! All were silent...

Why are we all like this? Why don't we want to spend some time with our loved ones? Why can't we just share a laugh with them? Are we really that busy or is it that we just claim to be so? I know some questions just do not have an answer.

But, some questions have their answers hidden in them. For instance, when I was in school, my schoolmates from my apartment always waited for our bus outside the apartment gate. Every morning a lady had a duty to make it a point to ask me the same question. Just when she saw me dressed in my school uniform, waiting for the bus, she used to ask me, "Beta, school ja rahe ho?" (Translation : Child, are you going to school?) And obviously my reaction, always, was...WTF! My mind always mumbled to itself, "No, am going to the circus!" Phew...!!

I also noticed one more thing... ladies can never stop gossiping! They love gossips more than their husband. Don't know when will this stop.

Anyways, I am back! And I missed you all...

Love,

Nyx! ;)

Good Old Days!

Alright, so I am back with a post... after a long time indeed!

Know what guys? Whatever it is, it is damn cute! ... the thing is... my dad is attending his School Alumni Meet soon! And the best part of the story is that recently he received a mail from his classmate and you should have looked at the smile on his face... stretching from ear to ear. He was looking very cute. He is turning 51 on Nov 30th and at this age, when he got to know about his schoolmates etc., it was the return of good  times for him. Touchwood...

Without drifting away from the topic, I was just thinking, how would I feel when I would get to meet my classmate when I would be, say, 50 years old. Awesome!! I am already giggling like a kid. I saw the kid inside my dad come alive today. It certainly would be feeling amazing, isn't it?

How eventful that Alumni Meet would be! A group of friends... talking about their life after school, about their family, about their profession, remembering those days when they hated their Mathematics professor, etc. Wow! Life is beautiful at times, isn't it? I have a schoolmate - Nidhi. Say I meet her when am around 50 years of age, completely unexpected! We try hard to recognize each other and when we do, how would the reaction be?... like this? ...

*Mouth wide open*

Nidhiiiii? Oh my god... hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii... how have you been???

Every word, every sentence would be exclamatory in nature! Right?

Life sometimes presents you with such pleasant surprises. Pure bliss! All the best dad for your Alumni Meet... hope you have an awesome time.

Love,

Your Daughter!

Guys, tell me how would you feel if you meet your classmate in a completely unexpected circumstance after may be 30 years? Pour in your views!

Unsurprisingly surprised!

Sometimes we know everything, still pretend to know not a word! Why?
Sometimes we want something to happen and still react as if it shook the ground underneath! Why?

‘Alice, I need to say something to you…and somehow I feel, you know it.’

‘What is it George? I have no idea what you’re talking about.'

‘Well, Alice, it has been quite sometime since we became friends, but since last few days I feel that it is just not friendship. I am… I am in love with you Alice.’

A big smile wrapped it up at the other end of the call. She knew it all along. She knew it that this was coming. She loved him too, but you know what she says? This…

‘OMG! OMG George, I just can’t believe this.’

What My Pet Can Do For Me...

I own a Dachshund... her name is Ginger, and I am sure you want to see her... so there you go!

Basically, this is a super random post, and you can guess that by the topic, can't you? Ha ha...
Why I am writing this is because I feel that all of us need a pet! Yes, you heard it right. You think you don't? You are wrong. I know many of you would be scared of pets...cats, dogs or whatever! I was the very same. I was terrified whenever my brother's dog landed on my lap. I would always end up screaming like an idiot. Lol. Sometimes it so happened that deliberately, to make me scream, my brother would suddenly lift his dog and put it on my lap. Hah, what stupidity. A few years later, my brother's bitch gave birth to puppies, and I gathered guts to lift them for the first time. Needless to say, I was super nervous. With time, I picked them up with ease, started playing with them. The matter of surprise was that I brought one home. We named her Ginger. :)

The day I started raising her up, all my notions changed. Now, I just love dogs. Yes, it is me who is saying this. We have heard people saying that dogs are very trustworthy. They surely are. Those little things they do can just take off all the worries that are inside you. They have that in them! Once we had to go on a vacation. Ginger knew it that we were going and she so wanted us to stay back...and guess what she did... this -

She ran and got onto the bag and sat there for almost half an hour... barking at everyone whosoever was coming to pick her up from there! Sweet.

My mom says that she is my younger sister, damn. That get my nerves ticking I tell you! But, when I don't see her for a day, it feels incomplete. She is now a part of my family. Sometimes when she does something wrong and she knows that she'll be scolded for it, she just runs under the sofa and does not come out from there till the evening. She is really damn intelligent.

Each one of you need a pet. Know why? Simple, because all of us are tensed one way or the other. We do different stuff to ward off our tensions... watch tv, play games, talk to a friend... But if you watch closely, except for talking to a friend, every other thing just aggravates our tensions. We tend to watch television, but all that idiot box provides us is some scene that we can relate to and end up feeling pathetic. Since the day I have Ginger with me, it has never been that difficult. The way she behaves, the way she does all those little cute things can just get me smiling at any time of the day.

So, that is just about it. I feel having a pet is quite essential and I am glad, I have one... or should I say... THE CUTEST ONE!

You Have It In You!

Ok, with thoughts of ups and downs crowding my head (Oh, don't get me wrong here you naughty minds... When I say UPS and DOWNS, I mean mood swings), all of you surely need to bear with me! :P

I really am thinking about what all are the things that lift my spirit when I feel low... when I feel that my life has been ONE BIG DISASTER or may be when I feel that every other person in my life has tested his Penicillin on me! :P
Each one of us have our own set of things that can get us in our best of spirits after a dark phase, isn't it? So, what is it that you do when you are not feeling good? When it comes to me, I act really weird...and yes, I have no issues in accepting this fact as well. I cry a lot... (Lot more than Rupali Ganguly perhaps) or sometimes I can go on laughing (More than our very own Siddhu paaji)... I sing real loud (Louder than Mudvayne)... I play like a kid doing weird stuff (Weirder than the kid in the movie 'Home Alone')... I go for a walk alone... and see all those underprivileged people in my neighbourhood, just to get a feeling that my life ain't that big a trouble.
All of you (those who read me) are my well-wishers, I truly agree. But you know what guys, sometimes I want you to let me be me here and write what I feel. I don't want that shoulder sometimes which would re instigate that feeling in me that yes, my life is a pool of *&%@. Instead, I want you to tell me how did you find my write up to be. Was it good, average or bad! :)

When I celebrated my 100th, a few people felt that I should redo it. But, if I am not writing here about what I am actually feeling, then this is not MY UTOPIA. We generally tend to write, say and do things that are socially acceptable. But guys, this is my space, isn't it? I have all the right to be ME here. If I am low, you would be able to see how weak I can get... and if I am strong, then you would know how strong I am.

Al right, without much of deviation from the main story, lets get back to business. :P
In my previous post I talked about the phase when one feels low. And with this post, I bring to light the things one generally does to get out of that phase.
Some people go shopping...an expensive one at that to get their mind off the thing that is bothering them. Some people fall into the 'cry and crib' category...they just cry their heart out. Some people just get into a nutshell...they go into hibernation (try it out, its good). I sing... I sing real loud and sensible too... one song that can get me back into form is 'Yeh Honsla' from the movie Dor...

Raah Pe Kante Bikhre agar,

Uspe to phir bhi chalna hi hai,
Shaam Chhupale Suraj magar,
Raat ko ek din Dhalna hi hai,

Rut ye tal jayegi,
Himmat rang layegi,
Subha phir aayegi.

Whenever I listen to this song, I feel that nothing is impossible! :)

Trust me guys, there is nothing that you can't do. And as Will Smith says to his son in the movie The Pursuit of Happiness, DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU WHAT YOU CAN'T DO. NOT EVEN ME!

You have it in you to do anything and everything you want to do. Best things are always for you. You are the blessed one. Just believe in this!

Stay Happy! Stay Blessed!

Give me what I want...

She sat alone... Whining... Crying... Her eyes red, full of tears, her forehead resting on her palm. Alone in a big house she sat, with no one who could wipe her tears!

"What have I done?" she asked herself.
This was not the first time she felt this way. Time and again life bestowed her with pessimism.  But she knew...she loved being happy. She wanted someone to pamper her, someone to lift her up, someone who could be a kid when she wanted to play a big smart girl and someone who would keep a watch over her when she becomes a kid while rolling down a slide! If this is what she wanted...why was she alone today... all by herself?? This loneliness was killing her.

Do YOU dread such a day in your life?? I DO!!

Guess what... there is some bad news and there is some good news as well. Lets end this post with a happy note...so that means the bad news comes first!

The bad news is that... EACH ONE OF US will see such a phase in our life when he/she will be alone... in the same situation that I described! When you would pick your phone to make just any random call and flip through your phonebook... you would find not even a single name you want to call. That is life! Strange, weird...you hate it... yet you want to live it each day. :)

Now the good news... EACH ONE OF YOU who sees himself/herself in such a situation can deal with it. Know how? Just be yourself and do what makes you happy. You get up and feel like crying? Cry...if that is what makes you happy! You get out on the road and you have 10 friggin bucks in your pocket and all you want is a bar of chocolate. Hah...don't mind... go get one! You know you have seen a lot of what you don't deserve and you also know that it's time to do what YOU want! You love that sparky YELLOW?? And you know... you would be looked down as an alien when you wear it? 'YELL OW'er them and go for it because if yellow was that bad a colour, why would someone even teach you in your kindergarten what YELLOW is?? :P

I know we can't always be SELFISH and live for yourself, but sometimes when nothing seems to go the right way... you need to do this! They say great things come in small packages. Two days of spending your life your way can give you an year full of satisfaction!

Live happily, Live Sensibly! :)

My 100th...

Hello people,

So, here I am with my 100th post!! Feels great surely... sometimes it gives me jitters thinking that I started blogging... blogging to just prove to someone that I can write... and then came my 10th post. I was so overjoyed!! Slowly my passion grew...I wrote more and I was read by a very few people... they became MY FRIENDS! Today, with 100 posts and 960+ comments, I feel happy...yet that is a saturated happiness. I am not feeling ecstatic! Yes, you guys heard that right. Usually the celebration posts I see… they are dripping with happiness... it might be real or fake. Today, I plan to write my heart out...whether it is dripping with happiness or with tears!

Thank you Sowmiya, Esther, Nabila, Abhrajit and Arun for writing my guest posts! They were surely amazing… as I had expected them to be. Before I start up with anything… this is a small something for all of you (each and everyone who knows me in the blog world). Please do accept...

Thank you guys for reading anything and everything I wrote here! Sometimes, what I wrote just did not make sense… yes, I notice that when I look back. But some of you read it and were so humble to also comment on it. Ha ha… Some of my friends shower me with appreciations about the way I write or the topics on which I choose to write… thank you! I have also received a few critical comments… for all those who made such comments; I thank you because its you who have helped me write even better!

I pray to write better with each day because blogging has become more of a habit now. Thank you for being with me through this journey!

 Signing off,

NYX! (I would prefer you to remember me by this name.)
